Like it's larger cousin, a gorgeous and refined ornamental grass forming clumps of evergreen leaves, to only 18 inches tall by 2 feet wide, with 3 to 4 foot spikes of golden flowers standing above the foliage in summer lasting into winter. A handsome plant for the sunny, well-drained garden needing only occasional summer water once established. Tucks in amongst other plants easily. Excellent for adding frothy texture to meadow plantings. Frost hardy to 0°F. USDA zone 7.
