Lower growing with a more cascading habit than the species, this well-behaved, mounding perennial bellflower grows to 12" in height, spreading outward to about 3ft. From early summer through fall, stems are covered in vivid blue blooms with a white eye. Sun to mostly shade, well-drained soil with regular water. Great in containers, in the front of mixed borders, scrambling at the feet of shrubs or grasses. Cut back to basal leaves in late summer to refresh. USDA zone 4.
