The Story
A Cistus Introduction. After years of meticulous breeding, or actually, a chance seedling in the entrance garden of the nursery, this to 6' x 6' or so, sports a good, vivid rose flower from late winter through mid-spring, and occasionally throughout the growth spurts of summer. Brief deciduous period in either late summer or early autumn, as with others of it's ilk, careful with the summer moisture. Best in afternoon shade and with decent drainage. USDA zone 6, if not 5.
