The Story
This Jewel of Desert ice plant has bright flowers with a yellow center ringed by white and pink giving way to vivid orange-red petals. A carpet of succulent leaves spreads out 10in wide and 4in tall. Flowers begin in spring and are continuous through the first frost. Drought tolerant though some summer water is best. Excellent in rockeries, along path edges, and in containers. Full Sun. USDA zone 6.
