The Story
This large, mounding, succulent perennial aloe can grow to 6-8ft in height and width. It bears 2ft inflorescences of coral-red flowers in late fall through winter, rising above the 18" rosettes of soft-toothed, narrow, downward curving green leaves. Full sun to light shade, low water, well-drained soil. Great as a container plant or specimen, where it can be protected or moved in when temperature drops below 25F; Hardy to USDA zone 9b.
