The Story

A 2023 Cistus introduction, selected from a seed batch by Ann Amato has 1-2" flowers a warm reddish orangy-pink broadly tubular flowers with deeper colored veins. Free flowering and upright to 3 to 4ft and vase shaped. We expect as tough as its megapotamicum parent with frost hardiness to about 20 degrees for any length of time, root hardy colder if mulched. Dappled sun or at least afternoon shade, evenly moist, fertile soil. USDA zone 8b-9a.
