Gifted us by plantsman Neil Bell from the French garden of Olivier Filippi, this extraordinary evergreen sub shrub seems quite a bit tougher than others of the same species we’ve grown. This a rather diminutive plant to only eighteen inches to two feet by a about three feet wide. The densely held fawn-colored fuzzy leaves make a solid presence in the dry border. Thought not heavily flowered, light yellow to mustard spring florets held above, are a bonus. Full sun well drained mineral soil, a summer drought lover. Cold hardy to USDA zone 8a and briefly into 7b.
