Blue Leave and new growth with golden indumentum. Yum! To only 3-5 feet at maturity and that fairly slowly. Full to part sun, lean and well-drained soil, with no summer water. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7, possibly into zone 6.
Formerly categorized as Lithocarpus, this species is now under genus Notholithocarpus.
