The Story
A reasonably new cultivar from the UK raised by Eric Sammons. Five deep maroon patches at the base of wide and overlapping, pure white petals. A spreader to 4 ft or so high and 6 ft wide. Loves lean soils and dry summers. A rather pleasant scent on warm nights as well. Full sun. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8. Though newer in cultivation, already a favorite of many gardeners.
