Ceanothus gloriosus

This low growing native evergreen makes a great ground cover for summer dry areas. Medium blue flowers cover the 8 ft wide, 2 ft tall shrub in late spring. Mix with other drought hardy plants in full to part sun. Excellent forage for native pollinators and for holding ground on slopes. Frost hardy in USDA Zone 7.
