The Story

A Cistus introduction. Our first and still among the best of this fairly rare species from almost exactly the border of Del Norte Co. CA. and Curry Co. OR.; this clone grows to about 6 feet tall and wide with matte green leaves, chocolate to pumpkin orange bark and pearly-pink flowers anywhere from late September to February. Well drained soil, tolerant of occasional summer irrigation, full to partial sun. Cold hardy to zone 7b.
