The Story
A Cistus collection from country rich in the genus, this from the area of Big Bend in South Texas. The plant reaches about 12 feet in height, or a little more, and this one has particularly chalky blue leaves that are fairly narrow. Upright, with flowers in late spring to early summer, in clusters of ivory white. Interesting tree former, though slow to achieve such things. A lover of bright light, decent drainage, summer water where it's dry. USDA zone 6B.
