Trunkless and clumping, with stiff, evergreen leaves, to 2.5 ft with thin filaments that shred from the leaf margins providing interest and texture. White flowers appear in summer on 3-6 ft woody stalks. Sun with some summer water for best appearance. Frost hardy in USDA zone 5.
