
The Story
This lovely inside-out flower, selected by late Seattle area gardener Marian Raitz grows to a dense 6 to 8 inches in height slowly spreading to make generous clumps. Evergreen leaves are particularly attractive in winter when the foliage amongst the best of the native species(coast of western Oregon into California) takes on red tints. Clouds of petite white flowers held on short stalks in spring. For dappled shade in well drained soil. Able to withstand summer drought when established. Cold hardy to 0 C. USDA zone 7.
