Always a useful plant in the garden, this Taxus, with its golden new growth, provides color interest all year long. Low growing and spreading, to 3 to 4 ft tall x 4 - 6 ft wide, these slow-growing yews can be easily trimmed or cut back to encourage fresh, new growth. Full sun to shade in any soil with decent drainage and occasional summer water when established. Excellent under deciduous shade or as a low hedge. USDA zone 6.
