The Story
A classic selection from the Santa Cruz area of California, or in actuality Aptos, with good blue-green color and slightly upturned branches in youth. An even vigorous grower, eventually attaining typical redwood height of 100ft. or more (think 50 feet in 20 years). A tough conifer able to withstand moderate summer drought and EEK! pruning, from which it easily re-sprouts. USDA zone 8 even 7 if kept from drying winds.
