Tallish growing, perennial salvia with stunning, light blue flowers on tall stems in late summer. To 3-6 ft tall forming open clumps to 3 ft wide, especially lovely when back-lit and perfect in the back of a border. Enjoys sun, well-drained soil and summer water for best performance. Cut stems back in spring before new growth appears. Frost hardy to -10F, USDA zone 6. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and is said to be deer repellant.
