A compact meadow sage with rich saturated red flowers, and spring green leaves. To 20" tall, at most, and about 2' in width. Like other sages, this one prefers full sun and pinching during the summer to keep tidy and encourage constant flowering from spring to fall. for Well-drained soil in full sun with periodic summer water where dry. Excellent forage for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. USDA zone 7.
