The Story
This lovely little evergreen blackberry comes to us from Japan where its leathery 2” leaves are regularly splashed in cream colors. A perfect addition to the woodland, where a delicate, very small scale groundcover is needed, or in a pot for a trailing accent. This was shared with us by plantsman Lance Reiners and replaces a variegated sport obtained not so romantically in a Home Depot parking lot. Regular summer water is preferred and shelter from hottest sun. Frost hardy to USDA zone 6.
