The Story
A lovely choice for the native (or other...) garden, to 6' or so, sports a good, vivid cerise flower from late winter through mid-spring, and occasionally throughout the growth spurts of summer. Brief deciduous period in either late summer or early autumn, as with others of it's ilk, careful with the summer moisture. Best in afternoon shade and with decent drainage. USDA zone 6, if not 5.
