*RETAIL - Pyracantha coccinea 'Dorothy's Fav'

From a seedling occurring and still prominent at the nursery entrance and admired by the late Dorothy Rodal. An arching evergreen, to 6 feet or more: we've kept ours about about 5'. Half inch light green leaves faintly edged in pale green and laden in pumpkin orange fruit from late summer into winter as well if the birds don't get to them first. Excellent as a low hedge. Much loved by migrating cedar waxwings. Summer drought tolerant once established. Sun, well drained soil, USDA zone 7.
