The Story
A Cistus introduction. This, one of many forms in Oregon's Illinois River Valley, with lightly mottled leaves to about 5" and lovely nodding white flowers, the centers of which gently age to pale pink. Particularly wide flowers add to the charm. Prefers a slightly moist spot though accustomed to summer dry spells. Dappled shade is best. Excellent in containers. Hardy to USDA zone 7, possibly 6.
