The Story
Unusual and striking evergreen tree native to Asia bearing large, emerald green needles to 4". Grows slowly to 10' and may become a large tree without pruning. Also makes a neat hedge or Bonsai. Average garden conditions; dappled shade to bright light with decent drainage and summer water. Doesn't turn down a little manure once in a while. Frost hardy to at least USDA zone 7.
