This NW native Penstemon forms 1-3 ft tall, shrubby, dense mounds of deeply-toothed leaves that are often flushed red. In summer, butterflies and bees flock the showy, rosy-purple flowers. Plant in sun, in well-draining soil and water regularly until established. Hardy to USDA zone 7.
