The Story
One of the more common Greek table olives from the region of the same name the groves of which are now protected. Medium to tree to 15-20 ft with silvery, somewhat upheld leaves and purply fruit aging brown/black good for curing. For us it's been among the hardy, having no damage in temps a bit below 20 F. The fruit ripen late October to mid November. Bright light, well drained soil, withhold water late season to harden. Excellent container plant. USDA zone 8.
