The Story

This gorgeous, golden-foliage, Japanese selection of the living fossil tree, dawn redwood is somewhat less monstrous in size than its green kin. Medium to fast growing. eventually to 100 ft tall x 15 ft wide in as many years. Full to part sun with adequate summer water and well-drained soil. Winter deciduous.  Frost hardy in USDA zone 5.
