Brought to us by collector Dan Hinkley, this moisture and shade loving perennial to 2-3 ft sports 3" rounded leaves of a furry, spring-green and snapdragon-like flowers of yellow and pink which are particularly nice if you look at them with your eyes out of focus. Evergreen into the 20s F. but perennial to at least 10F, USDA zone 8 so far. For shade to dappled sun, decent drainage and summer water where dry.
