Hailing from Australia's south eastern mountains, this myrtle relative does a great impression of a heather. Fine evergreen leaves clasp trailing stems to 1 ft. tall x 3 ft. Early summer butter-yellow flowers with long stamens create a frothy effect to the delight of pollinators. Full sun to afternoon shade with regular summer water in well drained soil. Cold hardy to the bottom of USDA zone 8 possibly into upper zone 7.
