The Story
This South African treasure can addict children -of any age- to the world of plants. To about 18 inches or so with scalloped mottled leaves that adorn themselves with tiny plantlets along each margin. Easily propagated by rooting these adorable offsets. Eventually topped with a series of tubular red-orange flowers if grown in bright light. Nearly impossibly to kill on a bright windowsill or outside in USDA zone 9b or above. Medium to bright light, in any well drained soil. Let dry out some between watering.
