Handsome and very useful clumping evergreen reed to 18" tall. The brown flowers that appear towards the leaf ends add texture throughout the year. A versatile accent plant doing well in full sun to dry shade. Excellent for rain gardens and stabilizing soil. Summer water will keep it looking its best although it’s drought tolerant. Frost hardy to 15F, mid USDA zone 8.
