Beautiful "walking iris", originally collected by the late Don Jacobs of Eco Gardens. Forms translucent evergreen leaves and stems that then, in early spring, radiate long graceful sprays of gold centered, lavender flecked flowers. Best in some shade with summer irrigation – beautiful at the water's edge, but it can also tolerate a dry shady spot. Spreads quickly if you let it. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
