*RETAIL - Ilex crenata 'Lemon Gem'

Wonderful dwarf holly--a compact shrub to only 2-3’ tall x 3-4’ wide--with a mounding habit and bright, cheery appearance. Small evergreen leaves are bright yellow when they first appear as new growth, later maturing to lime green, then dark green. Reddish stems and small, greenish flowers in spring. All together a sweet garden specimen or accent plant. Slow to moderate grower. Frost hardy to USDA zone 5.
