The Story
Oregon native alumroot with lovely, soft green, maple-shaped leaves that form a rosette, eventually becoming a ground-covering colony. In spring, tall stems with terminal green flowers appear, the stems turning red as the flowers go to seed. Delicious! Prefers a woodland location, but adapts just as well to full sun with regular irrigation. Hardy to USDA zone 5a.
