The Story
This hebe almost looks like a conifer at first glance. Wonderful ochre and rusty yellow tones grace this special whipcord gem. The color intensifies in winter. This is selected from a species found in the northwestern mountains of New Zealand. A sporadic display of white flowers is also nice. Grows to about a foot high and wide. Sun to part sun, good drainage and summer water where dry. Frost hardy to USDA zone 6.
