Diminutive, graceful shrub for the dry garden, a Mediterranean native, to 18", spreading to 3 ft. Dainty, 1/4" silver-green leaves and 1" flowers in spring, large-petaled and bright yellow. Lean conditions and summer drought are best, though it is quite luxurious, can short-lived with undue attention. USDA zone 8.
