The Story
Very hardy Protea relation from eastern Australia, a great garden plant. 5 to 8 ft or more tall & covered with clusters of eyelash shaped white fragrant flowers in summer. Needle-like leaves are aromatic & handsomely arching. Tolerates a bit of summer irrigation. Our cuttings from an old plant at the University of British Columbia. As with all proteas, avoid fertilizer with phosphorous. Full sun to part sun. Frost hardy to USDA zone 7b.
