*RETAIL - Cistus creticus ssp. creticus

Pink flowering rock rose, native to the eastern Mediterranean and used in Greece from ancient times to collect ladanum, the aromatic resin that gives plants a spicy aroma on sunny days. To 3-4ft tall and as wide with a rounded habit; easily trimmed or sheared back after the spring blooming period. Full sun, well-drained and lean soil, and little water once established. Easy in the dry garden. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8.
