One of the common button willows native to creek sides in California. The plants are rather mounded, growing to 4-5ft, with nice compact leaves and round, and of course, creamy, button-like pin cushion flowers. Deciduous. Attractive fall color of yellow and orange. Tolerant of poor drainage. Cold hardy to USDA zone 7.
