*RETAIL - Ceanothus thyrsiflorus 'Zanzibar'

Variegated California lilac, the leaves splashed in bright yellow, a nice contrast for the powdery blue, spring flowers. Fast growing to 6-8ft tall by 6-8ft wide. Sun on the coast; inland a bit of protection for hottest sun. As for other Ceanothus, well-drained soil and little summer water once established. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8.
