*RETAIL - Ceanothus 'Owlswood Blue'

A fast growing evergreen shrub or small tree to 8-10ft tall with a similar spread. A garden hybrid of C. arboreus and C. thyrsiflorus grown for its glossy green leaves and long dark blue spring flowers, often repeated in fall. Attractive as a specimen or screen planting in summer dry gardens and excellent forage for native pollinators. Drought tolerant when established and tolerant of all soils but the heaviest clay, even that if it is dry in the summer. Full sun to partial shade. USDA zone 8a.
