A spectacular ceanothus, a wild selection, by David Fross of Native Sons Nursery, from the southern coastal California range. Tops out at about 6ft tall and, in spring, cascades into a delicious mass of medium blue flowers. An extremely popular selection in -- surprise-- Italy. Sun, well-drained soil, and little summer water once established. Cold hardy to USDA zone 8.
