Among the more unusual of the tea Camellias, this Japanese selection to 5-6ft tall, sports chestnut stems and large leaves up to 5-7" long of spring-green covered in huge yellow blotches. Stunning. White autumn flowers of white will add to the show. Plant in full sun in rich, moist soil for reliable variegation. By the way, makes a pleasing tea. Upper USDA zone 7.
