An upright and slow-growing shrub that can reach 10-12ft tall by 3-8ft wide in time. Evergreen, of course, and enjoying part shade in rich, acid soil that drains well. Mulch as winter protection for shallow roots and water regularly in the summer. Frost hardy to 10F, USDA zone 8.
