The Story
This handsome bottle brush was discovered growing at a motel on the southern Oregon coast by Bob Frank, and was posthumously named by the friend he shared cuttings with, Blair Haynes. The original specimen is thought to have been planted sometime in the 60's or 70's, and thrives to this day. Evergreen, with reddish-purple flowers fading to lavender. Sun to part shade. up to 8ft tall by 12ft wide at maturity. Said by some to be deer tolerant. Hardy to 5° F. USDA ZONE 7.
