The Story
This variegated angel’s trumpet, polyploided for you by Terra Nova nursery, is much like B. ‘Peaches and Cream’ but with larger, bolder, and more substantial leaves variegated in cream, green, and white. Flowers are white, aging light pink and very fragrant even for a Brugmansia. But flowering begins late, substantially later than for B. ‘Peaches and Cream”, so we grow these more for the foliage and maintain them as pot plants kept above freezing in winter so that flowering, once begun, is nearly continuous. Greedy for fertilizer and water. Full sun to dappled shade in hottest climates. USDA zone 8 as perennial, zone 10 as an above ground shrub.
