This rare Mediterranean sub-shrub given to us by Andy Van Hevelingen adds minty-green fine texture and aromatic foliage (a blend of green apple and menthol) to the garden. A great foil for bold foliage or flowers.. think dark-leafed Dahlias. Fine spires of tiny cream flowers rise above the foliage in summer. 2 to 3 feet tall with a similar width. Late deciduous in the PNW. Cut back after flowering for more compact growth. Sun to part shade and occasional summer water where dry. USDA zone 6 and possibly colder.
