While native to the eastern US, this tough and hardy evergreen ground cover "kinnikinnick" thrives in the PNW. Light pink flowers mid to late winter followed by orange-red fruit. Tolerant of some summer water, it would actually like a little supplemental in the inland west. Excellent for ground cover or container. USDA zone 6. Sun or dappled shade.
