
The Story
A 2025 Cistus introduction. From the inner coast ranges of Glenn Co., CA, this burl-forming Manzanita to about 6ft high has upright stems with dark orange bark and leaves a lustrous green dusted blue. Generous pale pink flower clusters in mid to late winter. Can be "lifted" into a miniature tree or kept as a dense shrub. Lean soil, bright to dappled light and little summer water. USDA zone 7.
