The Story
A beautiful perennial "inca lily" native to mountains of Chile, 3ft clumps of blue-green foliage are topped with a succession of 3" golden trumpets over a long period from late spring to fall. Excellent long lasting cut flower. Dead-head by pulling spent flower stems to stimulate more flower shoots from below ground. Full sun to partial shade,and periodic summer water where dry, tolerant of heavy soils but avoid standing water. Cold hardy to 10-15F. USDA zone 8a.
