The Story
Lovely small, evergreen maple from northern Vietnam, collected there by Dan Hinkley. Leaves are longish and un-maple-like, but handsome, with orange-red new growth changing to green. Reaches 20ft or so in height in sun to dappled shade with plentiful summer moisture. We don’t know the ultimate frost hardiness but assume it to be 10F, USDA zone 8.
